Your main investment in Xtreme Lashes is the initial set. The application of Xtreme Lashes is an art form. Just as with hair styling, it can cost a bit more to have your lashes styled by the best. Once your initial set has been applied, touch ups are nominal in cost by beauty industry standards.

~lash memberships~

If you plan to maintain your lashes year-round, memberships are the way to go to get the most for your money. Memberships include your initial set and two relashes per month for one year. Relashes are use or lose each month; they may not be rolled over into the following month.

~maintenance~

A natural lash typically sheds every 2 to 2-1/2 months and is replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. Xtreme Lashes are applied one-by-one to each individual hair. Therefore, after 2-4 weeks, approximately 1/3 of your lashes will have cycled out. At this point, touch ups are required to replace the lashes that have completed their life cycle.  The cost of maintaining your eyelash extensions indefinitely is comparable to the cost of regular fills on acrylic nails or upkeep on color or highlights in your hair.

~home care~ 

Xtreme Lashes are easy to maintain.  For the first 24 hours, keep your lashes dry, and avoid touching them. After 24 hours, care is fairly simple: avoid oil based products, and be gentle with your lashes.  When you come in for your initial application, I will give you a detailed, easy-care maintenance instruction manual for you to take home with you.

You can help extend the life of your Xtreme Lashes with Xtreme Protective Coating. This special coating acts as a sealer on the adhesive creating an even stronger bond to the natural lash.  It can be applied sparingly one to two times per week on the lashes to extend the lasting power of Xtreme Lashes. TPF especially recommends this product to clients with oily skin, or those who plan to frequently wear eye makeup.  

If you choose to wear mascara, TPF recommends using one of the Xtreme Lashes water-based mascaras and Xtreme Eye Makeup Remover, which are specially formulated for eyelash extensions.

~lash safety~

Your health is important. That's why The Purple Flower exceeds Colorado beauty industry sanitation regulations. We dispose of all single-use implements (plastic applicators, sponges, etc.) after each client. We sterilize all multi-use implements (tweezers, scissors, etc.) prior to use in a medical grade autoclave sterilizer.

~lash adhesives~

For most clients, The Purple Flower uses Xtreme Lashes expert "HP-Ultra" Adhesive. This adhesive's primary ingredient is the same formula used by plastic surgeons in the United States for sutureless wound closure. For clients with sensitive eyes, we use Xtreme Lashes Advanced "HP-A" Adhesive. This adhesive has the same active ingredient as the HP-Ultra adhesive in a more gentle formula.

~lash removal~

Please, never attempt to remove your eyelash extensions yourself! By pulling your extensions off with the underlying natural lash, you are removing the natural lash before it is ready to shed. This can result in bald spots along the lash line, which may be permanent if you damage the hair follicle.

If necessary, your eyelash extensions can be professionally removed by Christy using Xtreme Lashes' Adhesive Remover. This gentle formula quickly and easily removes most eyelash extension adhesives without harming your natural lashes. The remover is a medical grade formula containing antibiotic agents for your protection.
